## Versioning and deprecation

Version 1 is the stable API. Backwards-compatible fields may be added within v1. Breaking changes use a new versioned path. A retiring version will be marked deprecated in OpenAPI and documented here at least 90 days before removal.

## Usage policy

The API is read-only and currently requires no key. Cache responses where practical and avoid high-frequency polling: market prices are recorded snapshots rather than a real-time feed.
